Online Advertising with Articles

Article Syndication and Advertising
By Trina L.C. Schiller

You have just created an awesome web site. It is very professional in appearance, and pleasing to the eye. Your content is engaging and informative; you are sure to make a lot of sales with it. Now all you have to do is get people there to see it.

How are you going to do it? By putting up flashy banner ads, hyped-up classifieds, or email ads? You could do that. It will surely produce a few sales, but on the other hand, it is a rather time consuming way to market your business. Time is money.

The average person does not surf the Internet to read advertisements, looking for ways to spend money. Most people know what they want and search to find that specific thing. These people use search engines to locate their wants and needs; therefore, that's where you need to be. So, the logical approach to marketing online, would be to do everything in your power to make sure you turn up in their search results.

Search engines relevant, specific key words, in context... textual content. That is what they hunger for, and that is what you should be feeding them.

Feed them articles! Write articles that promote your web site. Content, keyword rich content, that's what feeds the spider, and that's what will get you in front of your customers. This is how you get yourself listed in their search results. Spiders don't eat classifieds, they don't eat email, they don't eat banners... They eat information, articles.

To further amplify your efforts, publish more than one article in more than one place. The most efficient way to do this is through article syndication. Syndicating your information puts it in front of more eyes, with less work. It makes you more visible. This, in turn, is what will help you get from page 29, to page 1 in your customer's search results.

Write articles and syndicate them to draw searchers to your beautiful web site. It is far more effective to pull them to you, than it is to push yourself on them.
